Most of you know the iconic Redemption Song by Bob Marley – if you don’t check it out, it’s a good one. In the refrain, he says: “Won’t you help to sing these songs of Freedom? Cause all I ever have, Redemption songs […]” Probably Bob alludes to a process of gaining freedom through redemption and, reading through the rest of the lyrics, his parallel goal is emancipation in a political light.

Let’s take it on an individual, inner level since the “outer” level is nothing but its reflection. Now, redemption requires action: do something to be forgiven for your past actions. That’s exactly where it gets tricky. When you redeem yourself through some sort of action you carry with you the heavy baggage of guilt. It’s still a third-dimensional behavior. It works. It takes you from point A to point B. However, let’s focus on the ultimate goal of redemption, what is it? Nothing but Self-forgiveness.

What I suggest is to operate the other way round. To sing these songs of Freedom in the present moment. Let go of the burden of guilt now. Forgive yourself here and now. How do we do that? By observing the emotion of guilt without any mental commentary anytime you feel it. Non-judgmental observation is required.  In this way, your actions become automatically more love-based and therefore high-vibrational.

“Others” will start to forgive you after you’ve forgiven yourself. From the outside the two processes look almost the same: Jimmy Jumbo does something he labels as bad; he recognizes that; so he does something opposite and redemption happens. Nonetheless, on the inside, the perspective is shifted, the amount of effort required is reduced. This time it’s all about Freedom. We’re not talking about the heavy and solid 3D – or 3rd density. We’re talking about the light and flexible 4D. The realm of vibration beyond linear time, the realm of the Now.

Dancing madman on the street,

As free as the wind on his bare chest.

Dancing madman on the street,

Living in the moment,

Happier than the shop-owners

Peering out of the window at the ordinary miracle;

Happier than the police,

Came to extinguish his smile,

Laughter of the eternal child.

Dancing madman on the street,

His house’s a backpack,

His home, the whole world.

He has no riches nor gold

But he’s richer than most,

He’s richer than we’re told.

Dancing madman on the street,

You bestow me a tune

From the beginning of the century,

From the beginning of time,

Or is it from the end?

How?

I don’t mind, for both of them

Can only be conceived Now.

I haven’t smelled this in ages

That’s how it feels today

So fresh, so nurturing.

I’ve stepped into a new realm of possibilities

The sign says: “Go ahead, relax.”

Some cosmic knots have untied

New energy flows smoothly

I welcome all this.

Love is like a flower.

You can pluck it and macerate it,

Make a perfume

That will provide you with an illusory sense

Of permanence of its scent;

But that is not a flower anymore,

It has become something else: it’s dead,

Like a memory.

Or,

You can contemplate it, caress it, smell it,

Be aware of it with all your being,

Go and visit it every single day;

The flower will still be a flower,

Vital, thriving, alive,

And so you will be.

Huā.
